The neighbourhood of Windsor Park lies north of Fermor Avenue between Rue Archibald and Lagimodiere Blvd., between St. Boniface and Windsor Park golf courses, and the sprawling CN Symington yards.

This community was developed in the 1950s and '60s, and was one of Winnipeg's first planned communities, with traffic-minimizing bays, and streets built around convenient parks, schools, and recreational facilities.
The schools in Windsor Park are managed by the Louis Reil School Division.
There are five schools which are included: College Believe (Grade 7 to Grade 12), Ecole Howden ( Nursery to Grade 6 ), Frontenac School (Kindergarten to Grade 8), General Vanier School (Kindergarten to Grade 8), and Windsor Park Collegiate (Grade 9 to Grade 12).
There is also one Manitoba Francophone School, Ecole Lacerte (Kindergarten to Grade 12).
The area has many small community parks, though the green space along the Seine is mostly developed as golf courses on this side.
The Niakwa Golf and Country Club, Windsor Park (municipal), and the St. Boniface golf clubs serve the community.
In the winter, you can also cross-country ski at the Windsor Park Golf Course.
Windsor Park is home to the Winakwa Community Centre which provides indoor and outdoor activities all year round.
